Picture 300 excited volunteers—families, friends, kids, and neighbors—high-fiving, cheering, and packing 5,000 nutritious boxed lunches together in one epic, music-pumping session. That's Feeding Charlotte Feeds!
It's more than volunteering—it's a high-energy celebration of giving back. Upbeat tunes, team challenges, and non-stop positivity make packing meals an unforgettable experience for everyone.
Why It Matters In Mecklenburg County, ~15% of households face food insecurity, including 1 in 6 with children and many seniors. Meanwhile, good food is wasted daily. We bridge that gap by rescuing surplus meals and delivering hope.
On May 8, you'll help:
- Pack 5,000 fresh, healthy boxed lunches.
- Deliver them to partners serving families, kids, seniors, and those experiencing homelessness across Charlotte.
- Create real impact: meals, dignity, and less waste.
