We believe that people should not be unjustly punished simply because they're poor.  We fight to end bail practices that keep people in jail simply because they cannot pay.  We work to improve quality and access to counsel for people who cannot afford attorneys.  And we work with judges, legislators, and clients to end policies that suspend driver licenses and jail people if they cannot afford their traffic ticket and related debt. We should all be equal when it comes to the law. Lack of money shouldnt decide if you will get the best opportunity at legal representation possible
