Thanks to your incredible support last year, the Windy City Earth Guardians turned inspiration into direct action. We successfully overhauled our cafeteria waste stream by introducing sustainable metal silverware, a new food share system, and high-capacity compost containers. Every classroom was equipped with new trash and recycling receptacles, and we launched our Native Lab with professional grow lights and specialized tools for garden stewardship and litter collection. These investments have already allowed our students to move from observation to active leadership on our campus.

This year, we are ready to scale that impact school-wide. Your donations will fund the transition to a Zero-Waste campus through expanded composting infrastructure and high-quality restoration tools for all grade levels. We are also dreaming bigger by launching the Living Gallery—a series of upcycled art installations—and breaking ground on the Mindfulness Grove, a dedicated sensory green space designed for student emotional wellness.
