Overview
Join us for a special Halloween-inspired event: Creepy Crawlies! Learn about the "creepy" creatures living in the environment, then make a nature craft inspired by those critters.
Stop by the James Farm Ecological Preserve any time between 3pm and 6pm on October 21st so enjoy the program
The activites will take place outdoors at the Preserve, so please dress accordingly. Closed-toe shoes are encouraged. We also reccomend bringing insect repellent, as the Preserve can be buggy at times.
Important Notes:
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
This program is weather permitting.
Attendance is free, but registration is encouraged. We reserve the right to turn away walk-ups if necessary.
For the privacy and comfort of our participants, staff, and volunteers, video or audio recording is not permitted during our programs. Guests are welcome to take photographs, but we ask that you do so in a way that respects the privacy of others. Thank you for helping us keep our programs safe and welcoming for everyone.
Support the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays:
As you may know, recent federal changes may impact our funding, which currently accounts for nearly 60% of our budget. While challenges lie ahead, our commitment to preserving and restoring the Inland Bays remains strong. Your support is more important than ever. If you’re able, please consider making a donation to help us continue this vital work. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference (click HERE to donate).
