Weekday Serve Day - Thursday- December 4th- Javier & Yolanda - LH
Javier and Yolanda were deeply impacted by the floods in Liberty Hill (Sandy Creek). They have an adult special needs son who had a small standalone therapy room on the property, but it was picked up by the water and moved about 15 feet, stopped by the neighbor's fence. It's in decent shape, but in need of repairs before he can use it, but needs to be moved back to where it's supposed to be. Yes, that's right. So, please put a call out if you know anyone with experience moving a shed-size structure. Additionally, Yolanda's home had water intrusion due to excessive runoff. There will need to be some wall investigation and some sheetrock and siding repairs. Ya'll, this is a house that is full of love, and anyone who sets foot on the property will feel blessed to be a part of anything we do there.
This serve day , we will be working on the finishing touches to finish the therapy house, which is so rewarding to be a part of presenting a finished product where a few weeks previously there was no hope. It is especially rewarding to be able to serve such a grateful and Christ-centered family such as Yolanda and Javier.
