Cornerstone Restoration is heading back to Reynosa! 

We’re excited to announce that Cornerstone Restoration is teaming up once again with our long-time ministry partner, Rio Bravo Ministries to serve the community of Reynosa, Mexico.

Rio Bravo provides a safe, faith-based home for children who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. At any given time, around 60+ children live on campus, cared for by loving house parents. Rio Bravo has also built schools—from elementary through high school—serving not only the children on-site but the wider Reynosa community.

Work to Be Done:

The upstairs apartments are basically complete, with just a few small touch-ups remaining. Therefore, the CR team's primary construction focus for this trip will be the “Abuelos” House, which we will be working to make usable for visiting groups now, while also preparing it to become living space in the future.  Thus, our work should include: 

• Building out an additional bathroom area with 2 toilets & 2 showers, including the necessary drainage
• Installing a 4-bowl sink countertop
• Removing doors and repairing damaged interior walls
• Interior painting
• Replacing rotting exterior wood panels and repainting the exterior
• Replacing exterior lighting and electrical connections with proper exterior fixtures
• Finishing some smaller touch-up items around the property

All skill levels and trades are needed!  If you have a willing heart and a desire to serve, there’s a place for you on this team.

• The cost for this trip is $400 per person. Once you register you will receive a separate email with a payment link.

• This trip does require that you have a current basic Background Check which CR will provide.  Once you register, if we do not have one on file, a link will be sent to you to complete your background check.  Questions, please email us.

**In the event that you are no longer able to attend the trip that you registered and paid for, we encourage you to pay your trip cost forward to someone else. If that is unsatisfactory, a full refund is allowed up to 2 weeks in advance of the trip's start date.**
