G Bapa had the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever known. Despite facing financial difficulties, his goal was always to help the people around him. One example that stays with me is how he supported our babysitter through her studies - she is now a nurse caring for others.

Bapa taught us that if you stand strong with your people, you don’t need anything else in life. Live simply, smile brightly, be kind and serve others. He never rushed and never carried hate. Even after his passing, his example continues to guide our family.

I see many similarities between Bapa and the stories I’ve heard about Suman Papa. Although I never had the chance to meet him before he passed, the stories show he was also someone with a heart for service, a bright smile and deep love for others.

To honor their lives and the values they lived by, I will be serving communities in Honduras with limited access to healthcare and medications. Any support toward this mission will help continue their legacy of kindness and service.
