For 14 years Champions for Cures has raised over one million dollars in support of families fighting cancer. For the first time, Champions for Cures will be hosting a gala event like no other. We hope you can join us for a night of drinks, food, entertainment, and our signature live auction.
Meet our 2026 Champion
Oaklyn was two months old when the fevers started. Low-grade, constant, unexplained.
At four months, after her first seizures, she was diagnosed with Sturge-Weber syndrome. In the months that followed the diagnoses continued: Mastocytosis. Non-Langerhans Histiocytosis. Juvenile Xanthogranulomas.
In May 2026, she underwent brain surgery for complications from Sturge-Weber. On July 9, her family received one more diagnosis: acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
She is still a baby, and she has already fought harder than most of us ever will. Every year, our community elects a Champion and we rally. This year, we rally for Oaklyn.

Champions for Cures is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. What started as the Birdies for Cures Golf Classic has grown into a community that shows up, year after year, for neighbors facing a cancer diagnosis.
