October 2026 marks 10 years. 

7300 meals served. Over 300 hospital visits. Over 500 animals rescued. Hundreds of rehoming assists. Thousands of visitors. Dozens and dozens of volunteers. Over 100,000 hours worked. An untold number of frienships and hearts filled. 

10 years of giving pigs a chance. 10 years of safety. 10 years of believing in them and championing their lives. 

10 years ago, CTPR began with a modest mission: to be a resource for pig parents and be a refuge for some pigs in need. No one could have imagined the depth of the need and the depth of love and committment our community would have to support our work. 10 years later, we're continuing to push forward for a better tomorrow, to build a more stable sanctuary, and to cultivate a future where more people see pigs differently.
