Central Indiana Cycling wouldn’t exist without members and their contributions. Your membership dollars go toward the strength and growth of Central Indiana Cycling as we strive to create more bike riders thru advocacy, education, rides, and events.
The organization has significant membershp benefits such as rider insurance, special members only events, and discounts on rides and services in the area. The biggest benefit of Central IN Cycling membership is the organization's active Advocacy Committee that meets monthly. The Advocacy Committee is working on increasing the connectedness of the region's bike routes and increasing safety for all road users, especially those biking and walking.
By contributing to Central Indiana Cycling, you demonstrate that you care about the issues facing bike riders in our community and you want to make bicycling safe and fun for everyone. We will leverage your membership dollars to build a stronger bicycling community and engage in initiatives focused on more rides, safer infrastructure, education, and great cycling destinations. The bigger our membership, the stronger our message and our needs as bike riders become, and the more likely those needs are to be met by our city and state governments.
After you’ve joined, please ask your friends, neighbors, and riding partners to join Central Indiana Cycling. Ask your employer to become a corporate sponsor as well.
Note: Self-identfied low income members (pay what you can) can join for as little as $5 / year, although we hope you'll contribute more. Did you know that around 50% of bicycle riders make less than $25k per year? Bicycles are truly a powerful tool of efficiency and mobility for our city and region, regardless of income. Central Indiana Cycling is welcoming for all bike riders, regardless of their financial situation.
