This program is designed for college students or young adults (18+) to receive prevention education and awareness about alcohol and other drugs.

Pathways meets over 3 consecutive weeks, every Wednesday between 6:00-8:00 p.m at the Moody Family YMCA in the Park Cities (6000 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75205). An end-of-course certificate will be issued after completion and review of the final assignment.

 

** PLEASE NOTE: Students only need to register ONCE, with a one-time fee of $175 **

 

Program Objectives:

          • Develop an awareness of all aspects of drug/alcohol use as it relates to young adults.

          • Equip students with the understanding and skills to successfully navigate the high risk years of late adolescence/young adulthood.

          • Help students explore and process the health and legal risks associated with binge drinking.

          • Offer opportunities for students to consider healthy alternatives to excessive drinking.
