I’m grateful for the opportunity to sponsor the AGAPE Kids Classic Golf Tournament again this year to serve children and families in need here in our community. AGAPE provides foster care, adoption, counseling, and domestic violence services with the love of Christ throughout Middle Tennessee.

AGAPE’s mission is especially meaningful to me because of my own adoption story, and serving on the Board of Directors has only deepened my appreciation for the life-changing work they do every day.

I was born in Tehran, Iran to an American mother and an Iranian father. But an even larger narrative was at play here.

My mother met and married a man who became the father I needed. He has provided for us generously, taught and modeled Jesus to us, and taken us across America playing competitive golf. I don't have words to describe how much he has done for our family.

Our goal this year is to raise $330,000. This tournament is a critical piece in AGAPE’s annual fundraising—since 2001, the Kids Classic has raised over $5 million to serve some of the most vulnerable in our community. Not everyone can be a foster or adoptive parent, but we can all do something to help.
