Who is CFCF? We are California small private non-industrial forest landowners and their forestry professionals, who are passionate about forest stewardship education. Landowner education and now financial support is key to keeping our state’s private forests remain intact via long family tenure, which they can best continue to be the lungs of the planet. The wildfire crisis and climate change has added urgency to our long-standing passion. We invite you – though you may not be a forest landowner yourself – to boost our efforts by donating to CFCF, so that we can assist the largest number of private non-industrial forest landowners throughout California to mitigate the risk of catastrophic wildfires, hone their best forest management practices in the face of climate change, and keep their forestland ‘in the family’ so that it can remain the lungs of the planet into the future.
The mission of the California Forest Conservation Foundation is to help improve the overall health, sustainability and climate resiliency of California forests by providing educational programs and services concerning conservation, management, health and fire safety of forests to the general public.
Contributions to CFCF are tax-deductible; we recommend consulting your tax preparer. Tax ID: 85-4293819
