Come be a part of the 2026 Brightside Games! Whether you are a Buddy, on the Hype Squad, serve food, on the security team, or help run the games... we need YOU! We are bringing out all the stops and need the community to show up for our friends with special abilities. Let's give them the BEST day with the most fun!

Time to arrive at the event will depend on the Volunteer Position:

BUDDY (High School and Older): Buddies will be paired with an athelte with special abilities to give them the BEST day ever!!  They will be responsible for playing games, and showing them the best time!

GAMES (11 years old and older): Game volunteers will be playing the games and having fun with the Buddies and the athletes. Your job is to keep the games going and have FUN! Make friends and cheer on the athletes!

FOOD SERVER: All Buddies and Athletes will recieve a FREE meal. Food volunteers will be serving the food to them.

REGISTRATION: Everyone will have to register the day of the event. The Registration Team will be in charge of getting everyone registered and matched with their Buddy and Volunteers to the right place. They will hand out lanyards and any tshirts that have not been collected. 

PARENT RESOURCE FAIR/PHOTO BOOTH: Volunteer will make sure that all Parent Resource Fair participants get set up and ready to go for the event. They will make sure that everything is going good and that parents have anything they need. 

SECURITY TEAM: The security team will be placed throughout the event to make sure that everyone is safe.

PARKING TEAM: The parking team will make sure that Hanicap Parking is clear and that lanes are open. They will help with any parking needs on campus. 

WATER STATIONS: The water stations will be placed throughout the campus and will be passed out by volunteers.

INFLATABLES (21 or older): Control the inflatables making sure that all are safe.

TRASH/CLEAN CREW: Pick up any trash across campus so that we can keep things clean.

INFORMATION TABLE: Give out any information needed.

CAR SHOW: Help with getting cars in place, working table for People's Choice Award, etc

VENDOR ALLEY: Help get vendors in their spots and make sure they get what they need during the event.
