“Wealth is not about having a lot of money; it’s about having a lot of options.” - Chris Rock
Join BRAVE Communities for an engaging intergenerational community gathering that explores the powerful connection between financial well-being, mental health, and economic mobility. This event brings together subject matter experts for a dynamic panel discussion, followed by a community movement activity designed to reduce stress, build connection, and celebrate collective joy.
In a time marked by division, rapid technological change, economic uncertainty, and growing mental health challenges, this community experience invites neighbors, youth, elders, creatives, professionals, and leaders to slow down, lean in, and listen...together.
The panel discussion will include the following topics along with audience questions:
- How financial stress impacts mental health and overall well-being
- Overcoming shame and barriers to seeking financial support
- Access to resources and pathways to economic mobility
- Avoiding financial fraud and scams, particularly in the age of technology and AI
- Practical strategies for budgeting, managing debt, building savings, and creating generational wealth
We will also two youth-organized groups share their digital projects on mental health and economic mobility.
