Strive together, build resilience, and race for a purpose with Patriot’s Pack!

Patriots' Hall of Dripping Springs is a dedicated retreat and resource hub for veterans, active military, and their families, fostering connection, growth, and well-being. As the only facility of its kind in Central Texas, it follows a veteran-led, community-supported model that complements existing organizations. The design prioritizes wellness with outdoor spaces (60% of total area), peer-based support, and flexible gathering areas to address disconnection challenges. Research-backed, this approach enhances veteran social connections and lowers suicide risk.

Patriot’s Pack is our flagship veteran wellness program that fosters mental, physical, and social well-being through endurance sports, emphasizing teamwork and resilience. Rooted in the original Latin meaning of “compete” – to strive together – the program integrates endurance training, peer support, and leadership opportunities to help veterans transition to civilian life. In 2025, participants will train and compete in three Texas long-distance races while raising funds and engaging in wellness clinics. This Longhorn Run is the first in this series.

Why It Matters:

  • Combats Veteran Isolation – Team-based running fosters camaraderie and belonging.
  • Veteran Leadership Opportunities – Veterans can become paid coaches, mentors, and speakers.
  • Supports Veteran Families – Open to veterans, families, and the community to strengthen bonds.
  • Enhances Mental & Physical Health – Structured training reduces stress, anxiety, and depression.

This program creates a sense of purpose, connection, and resilience, empowering veterans beyond the military.

Everyone is welcome to join this effort - all funds we raise will go towards this and other programs to support our veteran community!

Whether as a participant, coach, mentor, sponsor, or donor, your involvement directly impacts veterans and their families.
