Hello! I created this fundraiser on a very short and unfortunate time line. My Siberian husky Nitro is 9.6 years old, I've had him since he was born (literally!) Nitro is the best boy anyone could ever ask for! He is my emotional support dog, and my best friend in the entire world! Recently nitro was diagnosed with cancer, or so they are guessing. The vets guess is that it's some sort of nasal tumor. He is on yunnon baiyo, doxycycline and just started Prednisone. They can't really confirm that this is the case without an MRI/cat scan or at the very least blood work and an x-ray of his head/face. The reason I took him to the vet to begin with is because he had gotten 2 nose bleeds at that point. Since his first visit 2 months ago he has had minor nose bleeds as well as 1 major nose bleed which caused him to go into shock. Due to the cost of his medications, special diet and well, being a single mother of 2 , I've had to pick and choose. So I chose medication over blood work and imaging because I just don't have the money for imaging. I would love to be able to get him the proper imaging so that we would know 100% what is going on. I'm not ready to lose my best friend. I know he is a senior, but other than this he is in great shape and acts like a pup most of the time. He has saved my life more times than I can count , I need to return the favor and let him pass from old age. Thank you for reading. Prayers to all.
