We will explore the mystery of the wobbly and jumpy wheel, broken spokes, what is the dish of a wheel, and how wheels work in this ReCycle Shop Course.
While often reserved for bike shops and mechanics, the world of wheel truing can be daunting and a bit mysterious.
First will be diving head first and taking the questions out of how to true a wheel one step at a time. We will break down how truing works and how a truing stand can become your best friend through hands on experience. We will change a spoke and the steps that come next. Lastly, we will cover what to do if you take a hit while riding and how to true your wheel on the road.
Please give us a call during our open shop hours, Tue/Thur 2-8 p.m and Fri/Sat 12-4 p.m. for information regarding the class, sign-up, and payment.
