CRYSTAL LAKE – Bii Natural Salon & Shop, a business committed to the community, is hosting a charity Cut-a-Thon on Saturday, July 27, from 12-4 p.m., to raise money for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of McHenry County. CASA provides advocates for abused and neglected children.
“Recently, after the AJ Freund tragedy, CASA McHenry County made a call of action and we knew it was time to get involved. Hosting this year’s Cut-a-Thon is our way to give back and support the cause and mission of CASA,” says James Gartner, Chief Creative Officer of Bii.
The Cut-A-Thon will be at Bii Hair Salon’s West Dundee location at 1955 Huntley Road. The event is an opportunity to get a haircut from a Bii-certified hair artist while supporting the lives of children. Each haircut is $35 and all proceeds are donated to CASA. Plus, 10% of all retail earnings will be donated.
“We have deep roots in the McHenry County area and are committed to strengthening our region while healing as a community. We have partnered with other businesses for Cut-a-Thons before, to raise money for other local charities. For us and our neighbors, it is important we respond to CASA’s call to get involved,” continues Gartner.
