About Between Grief and Glory

Why We Can’t Do This Alone

Between Grief & Glory was born out of our shared desire to walk with people in the places where faith and suffering collide. Both of us know what it’s like to carry wounds the world doesn’t see, to wrestle with hard questions, and to discover that transformation comes not from quick fixes, but from meeting God in the silence, the grief, and the waiting.

Our journeys of suffering have shaped us and have anchored us in hope. Out of that hope, we feel called to create safe spaces where others can slow down, hear God’s voice, and step into healing that reaches the inner person and is brought about by the Spirit.

Together, we are committed to showing up for those who need it most: teens in juvenile detention searching for identity, single mothers who feel invisible and exhausted, and adults navigating trauma and faith that no easy answer can resolve.

But this mission is bigger than us. To serve full-time and expand the reach of Between Grief + Glory, we need a community standing with us. Your support makes it possible for us to continue offering soul care, retreats, and mentorship at little to no cost for those who desperately need it.

Your generosity doesn’t just fund a ministry. It fuels transformation — the kind of deep, lasting change only God can bring. Together, we can help countless people move from grief into glory.

Partnership

When you give, you are not just donating—you are sowing into transformation:

  • Provide holistic care — Soul care that touches spiritual, emotional, and relational wounds.

  • Support the vulnerable — Single mothers, incarcerated teens, and weary young adults.

  • Build lasting transformation — Not a quick fix, but rooted faith that sustains a lifetime.

  • Empower the disadvantaged — Making mentorship and spiritual formation accessible to those who couldn’t afford it otherwise.

How will my donation be used?

Your gift directly fuels the ministry of Between Grief & Glory. Our core donor-supported need is about $7,200 per month. This provides living support for our family, enabling us to serve full-time through spiritual direction, retreats, and outreach. It also covers the essential ministry expenses that make this work possible—things like website hosting, podcast tools, retreat supplies, and communication/design software.

Our projected annual ministry budget is approximately $225,000–$245,000 (about $18,750–$20,400 per month). This supports ministry leadership compensation and program facilitation, direct program and curriculum development, certification and ongoing formation, administrative and communications support, retreats and group formation experiences, and a commitment to tithing and reinvestment into aligned nonprofits. The final budget will adjust based on training costs and fiscal sponsor fee calculations. While gifts of any size are deeply appreciated, it is our monthly partners who make it possible to sustain this work with integrity, consistency, and long-term vision.

We are also proud to partner with Womens Nonprofit Ministry Alliance, our fiscal sponsor. They serve as our umbrella organization, providing accountability, processing donations, and ensuring everything is handled with integrity. They retain a small percentage to cover processing, accounting, and administrative services. This partnership allows us to focus on ministry while knowing donations are stewarded wisely and transparently.

How do I know my gift makes an impact?

We believe transparency builds trust. As a partner, you will receive regular updates through email, prayer letters, and video testimonies of those being served. We also provide quarterly fiscal reports, so you can see exactly how your generosity is being used. More than numbers, though, you will hear stories of teens finding hope, mothers rediscovering strength, and individuals experiencing God’s healing presence—because your support makes that possible.

What if I can’t give monthly?

One-time gifts are deeply appreciated and make a meaningful difference. Supporters may also choose to sponsor specific needs, such as retreats, meals for gatherings, certification programs, or retreat supplies. In-kind gifts—like printing, materials, or services—are also welcomed.

Every gift helps extend the reach of this ministry. If you’d like to explore partnership opportunities, you’re invited to schedule a Partnership Discernment Call—a prayerful conversation about collaboration, sponsorship, or community support with Between Grief and Glory.
