The Annual Gala
Everything you need to know about this year's celebration
Event details
The gala takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at The Grand Ballroom, 500 Main Street. Doors open at 6:00 PM with cocktails and the program begins at 7:00 PM. The evening concludes around 10:30 PM.
The dress code is black tie optional. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear tuxedos or dark suits, and ladies are welcome in floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses, or elegant evening attire.
Complimentary valet parking is provided at the main entrance. Self-parking is also available in the adjacent garage at no charge. Rideshare drop-off is at the south entrance on Elm Street.
Yes! A plated three-course dinner will be served. Guests can choose from filet mignon, pan-seared salmon, or a seasonal vegetarian entrée. Please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies when you register — we're happy to accommodate all needs.
Tickets & tables
Individual tickets are $250 per person. Tables of 10 are available starting at $2,000, with premium tables at $3,500 and $5,000. All ticket purchases are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Absolutely. Table sponsorships include premium seating, logo placement in the event program, and recognition during the evening. Contact us at gala@example.org for sponsorship packages and custom arrangements.
Full refunds are available up to 14 days before the event. After that, tickets may be transferred to another guest at no charge. Contact us at gala@example.org to make changes.
Auction & giving
Yes! Our silent auction opens at 6:00 PM during cocktail hour and closes at 9:00 PM. All bidding is mobile — you'll receive a link to bid from your phone when you check in. Items include luxury travel packages, fine dining experiences, sports memorabilia, and more.
Of course. You can make a tax-deductible gift anytime through our online giving page. You can also participate in the silent auction remotely — online bidding is open to everyone, not just in-person guests.
100% of funds raised support our programs and mission. Last year's gala raised over $350,000, funding scholarships for 120 students, expanding our community health clinic, and launching two new after-school programs.
Day-of logistics
Check in at the welcome table in the lobby — you'll receive your table assignment and a link to the mobile bidding platform. Cocktails and the silent auction are in the atrium, and dinner is served in the main ballroom.
Yes. The Grand Ballroom is fully ADA accessible, with step-free entry, accessible restrooms, and elevator access to all floors. If you have specific accessibility needs, please let us know in advance and we'll make sure everything is arranged.
Reach our events team at gala@example.org or call (555) 123-4567. On the night of the event, look for staff in gold lanyards — they'll be happy to help with anything.
