Join Beavers Northwest Staff at Carkeek Park to learn about beavers, biodiversity, and how you can help contribute to biodiversity research!
Join Beavers Northwest Staff for an exclusive event supporting the City Nature Challenge! This event is free, but registration is required! Meet staff at the event board near the railroad bridge at Carkeek Park here at 6 PM on Friday, April 24th. Beavers Northwest staff will provide education on beavers, their link to biodiversity, and the importance of community science efforts! We will then spend time working together to document the plants and animals that live in Carkeek Park using iNaturalist!
They City Nature Challenge is an international effort for people to find and document plants and wildlife in cities. It's an annual four-day global bioblitz at the end of April, where cities collaborate to see what can be accomplished when we all work toward a common goal.
