African Sisters for Information, Knowledge & Empowerment (ASIKE) is a non-profit that works to empower women of African descent through advocacy, education and sisterhood.
Advocacy – We advocate by building awareness, influencing and working together with other organizations ensuring resources are available. We achieve this through our Connections program and Sponsor-A-Child (S-A-C) program. Our Connections Program brings organizations together. ASIKE funds the education of girls of African descent though the Sponsor-A-Child (S-A-C) program and Education Fund. These funding programs currently cover the cost of educating 60+ students annually.
Education – We educate by teaching, training, and mentoring women to be effective leaders in their respective communities on the local, national and global stage. ASIKE members are sisters that care about each other and their communities and world deeply and aid by sharing expertise and information. Communities are also aided as all events are shared.
Sisterhood – We promote sisterhood by fostering authentic relationships and celebrating our personal and professional accomplishments
