Aces and Ales: Wings Up For Scouting
November 17
Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center
Superior, WI

Join us for a beer-tasting social featuring craft beers from across the Twin Ports of Superior and Duluth, all within the unique setting of the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center overlooking Lake Superior.

The Center is dedicated to the "Ace of Aces," Richard Bong, America's top fighter pilot during World War II and one of the most decorated pilots in U.S. military history. A native of the Superior area, Bong's legacy is preserved at a center where "veterans are honored, families are inspired, and history comes alive for all."

Guests will enjoy the social inside the museum, which features a replica of the P-38 Lightning fighter aircraft flown by Bong, along with World War II-era tanks, jeeps, and other historical exhibits.

If you are interested in attending, have questions, or would like to support the event in other ways, please contact Development Director Mathew Riedel at Mathew.Riedel@scouting.org or 715-598-9719.
