Since the beginning the Building Fund Project (renovation of Sunday School wall, Dining Hall to include a bathroom, and Welcome Housing), Welcome Chapel has experienced the blessing of God to continue services virtually, offer LunchBox services to those in need, and now hybrid services in spite of the Pandemic, but in compliance with CDC regulatory requirements.

As we press forward to see our projects through with the support from the Capitalize Albany Corporation and the Albany Community Development Agency; we thank our neighbors, friends, sister churches, and family for your continued prayers and support.

We will be engaging in a new more immediate project to fix the "Tower" of our church building which supports the steeple area. This critical project is necessary to secure key structural areas in the front of the building. As we continue to lean and depend on Jesus, we thank the NYS Landmark Conservancy and Proper and O'Leary for their knowledge, expertise and solutions to develop a plan to fix the tower. And God is to be praised for our General Contractor, Dimitris Masonry, who provides continued supported through his expertise.

The Welcome Chapel Building Fund Auction is a fun way to fellowship and to advance the mission of the church.
