Voice of Refugees (VOR) is a faith-based nonprofit serving refugees, asylum seekers, and immigrant families across Southern California through relational programs that help families stabilize, integrate, and thrive.
Love Afghan Neighbors (LAN) is a volunteer-led ministry that operates as an arm of VOR in serving refugee families. Under the umbrella of VOR, LAN seeks to mobilize the Chinese Church to serve Afghan neighbors through prayer, friendship, practical support, and disciple-making—encouraging churches to pray and participate, while equipping and entrusting volunteers to walk alongside Afghan families with care and compassion.
LAN would like to implement its ministry through the following strategies:
