Trails Forever: Protecting our trails, Connecting our community

The recent devastating wildfires have been a wake-up call: our beloved Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area needs our help.

Since 1988, Santa Monica Mountains Fund (SAMO Fund) has been the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, working to protect and preserve this irreplaceable landscape. With increasingly severe wildfire seasons, habitat loss, and shrinking federal budgets, SAMO Fund is launching Trails Forever, a crucial initiative dedicated to maintaining and safeguarding our trails for generations to come.

To support this mission, the silent auction is leading up to our Trails Forever Event on Saturday, June 7th at King Gillette Ranch. Bidding will be open for two weeks leading up to the event and will close on the night of the event. This is your chance to bid on incredible items while directly contributing to trail conservation!
