Mississippi  Center for Legal Services, is a private non profit law firm providing free civil legal aid to low income persons in 43 counties in central and southern Mississippi.  Today, we are participating in the 2025 Giving Tuesday and year end campaign to educate and inform you about the communities we serve and the legal needs that exist.

Over the past four decades (MCLSC) has handled thousands of cases and assisted many individuals, families, children, domestic violence victims,  seniors, and veterans through our advocacy, publications, website, and other education and outreach efforts.  In addition to individual casework, we continue to work to eliminate the systematic and pervasive inequities confronting the most disadvantaged members of our communities in order to make the justice system a level playing field.

Our work is more important than ever. During these times, Legal Services staff  must be even more vigilant in tackling injustice in all its forms and serve our clients with zealous dedication and compassion-AND WE WILLCONTINUE TO DO SO-BUT WE ALSO NEED YOUR HELP!

The inequities in our justice system continue to plague the more than 620,000 Mississippians living in poverty.
