As a morning shift volunteer, you'll play a key role in helping us kick off the day smoothly and ensure a welcoming, organized start for our students and guests. This volunteer opportunity will be from 8am - 11am. 

Your responsibilities may include: assisting with event set-up, student and guest registration/check-in support, supporting breakfast service for students and providing general event support as needed. Flexibility is appreciated, as roles may shift slightly based on what’s needed at the moment.

As the tech support volunteer, you’ll play a key behind-the-scenes role in making sure the event runs smoothly. This volunteer opportunity will be from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. You must be very familiar with technology, setting up simple systems, and be comfortable troubleshooting.

You will be assisting our Program Coordinator and Systems staff member and your responsibilities may include: supporting Latinitas staff with managing A/V equipment, troubleshooting technology such as application logins and wifi connection, and being proactive with ensuring technology is charged and ready to switch out if issues persist; supporting presentation setup and transitions; and helping the MC with timing and tech-related needs. Flexibility is appreciated, as tasks may shift slightly based on what’s needed in the moment.

This is a full-day commitment and the most rewarding shift on Saturday November 22nd from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

You’ll be working with another Team Lead and guide the students through workshops created by the Latinitas team for a final startup project.

No previous startup experience is required—just a desire to lead, encourage, and make a difference. Experience working with students ages 9-14 years old is encouraged!

As a lunch shift volunteer, you'll help keep the energy going as students move into the heart of the day’s activities. This volunteer opportunity will be from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Your responsibilities may include: assisting with lunch setup and service, helping monitor the lunch area, supporting transitions between sessions, and providing general event support to ensure everything runs smoothly. Flexibility is appreciated, as roles may shift slightly based on what’s needed at the moment.

As the tech support volunteer in the afternoon, you’ll play a key behind-the-scenes role in making sure the event runs smoothly. This volunteer opportunity will be from 12:30 PM - 5:30PM. You must be very familiar with technology, setting up simple systems, and be comforatable troubleshooting. 

You will be assisting our Program Coordinator and Systems staff member and your responsibilities may include: supporting Latinitas staff with managing A/V equipment, troubleshooting technology such as application logins and wifi connection, and being proactive with ensuring technology is charged and ready to switch out if issues persist; supporting presentation setup and transitions; helping the MC with timing and tech-related needs; and helping collect and track all technological devices at the end of our conference.

As an afternoon shift volunteer, you’ll help us close out a successful day and ensure the space is cleaned and reset. This volunteer opportunity will be from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Your responsibilities may include: assisting with event wrap-up, cleaning common areas and event spaces, helping move and reset furniture, and providing general end-of-day support as needed. Flexibility is appreciated, as roles may shift slightly based on what’s needed at the moment.
