As camp quiets for the off season, we are reflecting on the year that has passed, and the year to come. 2022 was a year of changes for Earth Rising, and we’re excited for the future.

In March of 2022, we welcomed two new interns to the Board of Directors , as we implemented a yearly internship program that is on a fixed schedule (April - March classes).
As the pandemic relaxed, we were excited to have our first Earth Day back,  incorporating many new programs with our traditional activities (online auction and many new classes!). The summer was busy once again, as all of our festivals finally returned post pandemic.

Throughout the year we have been working diligently on new projects: a new website, an updated registration system, and holidays that incorporate classes and fun events with the Cabin Sponsors.

In 2023 we are looking forward to a brand new website, and most excitingly, a brand new showerhouse (construction is being set up for fall of 2023). Other projects include new storage for the basement, and a possible garage to house many of our work vehicles.

We thank each and every one of the many community members for their volunteerism, patronage, and love for the land! Keep an eye out in the coming year for volunteer opportunities on the land - we’ll be posting them to the Facebook page!
