We rescue dogs from Austin-area shelters when they are at risk of being killed for time & space, behavior, or all of the above. We believe that EVERY dog deserves a CHANCE to become the family member they were born to be. We provide the dogs with the training and care they need to give them that chance. And we can't do that without your help! We are 100% volunteer run and donation based, so your donations will:
Provide a night, week or month of safety for the dogs in boarding
Feed all of our dogs healthy food
Give the dogs the preventive veterinary care they need
Provide veterinary care to the dogs who are sick or injured
We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit, the Indie Institute, with a mission to improve animal sheltering and welfare and promote the human-animal bond through research, education, rescue and rehabilitation. Final Frontier Rescue Project is the rescue and rehabilitation project of the larger nonprofit organization. We are 100% volunteer-led, so all donations go directly toward the care of our dogs.
