I chose to continue as a Senior Fellow and to deepen my support because I have seen its impact firsthand. Through this journey, I have had the opportunity to meet many of my heroes, including founding voices of the Environmental Justice movement. A dream that became true for me! This experience reaffirmed my commitment to this path and reminded me of the power of this movement to inspire, connect, and transform lives across generations.
Through this Fellowship, I have been able to expand my work beyond Mexico and actively support communities in the United States, recognizing the importance of strengthening Environmental Justice as a truly global movement. It has deepened my understanding of how critical it is to build bridges across borders and to keep this movement positive, forward-looking, and rooted in solidarity, peace, and equity. A Rigorous, Practice-Based Journey: Fellows engage in virtual learning and hands-on projects, gaining practical skills to address local environmental challenges. They receive direct mentorship from national experts in policy, science, and advocacy.

Barrier-Free Access to Opportunity: To ensure passion is the only prerequisite, the program is fully funded. Each fellow receives a $2,500 stipend, and all travel and lodging for essential in-person retreats are covered.

A Truly Global Community: This fellowship builds bridges across borders. In 2025, we welcomed fellows from 16 different countries, creating a rich network for shared learning and global solidarity.
