About The Awards
For more than 40 years, YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley’s Tribute to Women Awards have celebrated the achievements of individuals who excel in their fields and make significant contributions through exceptional leadership—both within their organizations and across the Bay Area community. The awards shine a spotlight on women in executive and emerging leaders and salutes the Bay Area organizations that promote equal advancement of women in leadership roles. The 2026 Tribute to Women Award will recognize leaders in five categories:
- Tribute to Women Award (women in executive positions)
- Ally Award (open to any gender identity)
- Women on the Rise
- Emerging Leader
- Nonprofit Excellence
By recognizing women leaders—particularly women of color—we help pave the way for a future in which girls and young women can clearly see what is possible. The Tribute to Women Awards are both a celebration of excellence and a vital tool for advancing equity.
