YES to YOUTH and Everything for Our Family Foundation invite the community to Voices, Values, and Family: A Symposium on Mental Health and Ethical Practice. This is a half-day event bringing together experienced clinicians, counselor educators, and community advocates to explore pressing topics in mental health care.
Attendees will learn from a distinguished panel of presenters across three sessions:
• Ethics in Counseling Practice — Adriana Gutierrez, PhD, LPC-S, Will C. Henry, LPC-S, NCC, LCCA, and
Cortnee Wright, PhD, LPC-S
• Attachment and Family Systems — Jessica Whipple, LPC-Associate, LCDC-Intern and Deanna Alcala, PhD, LPC-S
• Working with Diverse Populations — Jonathan Rea, PhD, LPC and Christina Ramos, PhD, LPC, NCC
Together, these clinicians and educators bring decades of experience serving youth, families, and underserved communities across Texas.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for licensed health professions for a $15 fee, with all proceeds benefiting the Everything for Our Family Foundation.
This event is co-presented by YES to YOUTH and Everything for Our Family Foundation, with support from Kingwood Pines Hospital.
YES to YOUTH is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the emotional health and resilience of youth and families in Montgomery County through free counseling and shelter services. Everything for Our Family Foundation is a bilingual counseling practice and training center committed to increasing access to culturally responsive and linguistically affirming mental health care for underserved communities.
