Come away with us on Saturday, September 13th, to the beautiful See Canyon Fruit Ranch for a mini-retreat. This special day has been designed to refresh your mind, body, and soul. Begin the afternoon by enjoying a savory charcuterie board and a concert on the lawn. Explore the lush grounds and find a photo-booth inside a vintage bus, as well as an opportunity for a professional mini portrait session. As the evening nears, settle in for a time of uplifting worship and inspiring stories and messages. Bring your own picnic dinner to enjoy. This day is curated for young women ages 12 - 24 and the women who love them.

Nestled below the mountains of San Luis Obispo and up a canyon road from Avila Beach, See Canyon Fruit Ranch features lush gardens, an orchard of apples and pears, and a bright green lawn under a canopy of trees. This is the perfect location to be renewed and reset your soul.

Keynote Speakers

Shynna Valencia is a former Laker Girl turned professional hair stylist and makeup artist with a passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each weekend, Shynna dedicates her time to teaching Bible stories to preschoolers at her church. Shynna resides in Burbank, California, where she cherishes life with her loving husband and their two small children.

Veronica Bacquet has a heart for ministry and a deep love for people. She has called the Central Coast home for the past 10 years, where she and her husband, Tyler, are now planting Everlight Church. As a mom to Presley, Knox, and Banx, she pours her energy into raising their three kids while also supporting the church and community.

Allie Marie Smith is the Founder and Director of Wonderfully Made and is an award-winning author, speaker, podcast host, and certified life coach. She is the author of Social Media Reset: A 30 Day Guided Journey to Unplug, Reconnect with God, and Reclaim Your Joy, and Wonderfully Made: Discover the Identity, Love, and Worth You Were Created For. She loves surfing and adventuring up and down the California coast with her husband, Paul, and Golden Retriever Gidget. 
 

Musicians

Emma Valentine is a 22-year-old songwriter and storyteller with a deep love for creation and the Creator. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, Emma lives a life full of sunshine, waves, and music. She travels all around the world chasing waves & sharing songs. She performs regularly in New York City and has worked alongside Jason Mraz in the recording studio. She has been seen performing at the Manhattan Center as top 10 Finalist in BroadwayCon's "Star to Be" Competition, and has performed & competed on ABC'S American Idol. Emma will be performing a concert and leading worship.

Kiera Reitzin is 18 years old. She is from sunny Santa Barbara where she loves singing, writing music, learning new instruments, being with friends, and trying new foods. This is her fifth retreat with Wonderfully Made and she is so excited to share God’s love through music.

Janelle Stephanie is a natural light, lifestyle portrait photographer with 18 years of experience. She loves helping women see the fullness of who they are through simple yet effortlessly beautiful portraits. Her photos have a soft focus and she tends to love blurred out backgrounds, hints of sun flare, and dreamy, golden light. She will be available for mini-portrait sessions during the retreat.

1. Who is this event for?

This faith-filled retreat is a special gathering for young women (age 13 -- post-college). If you're a high school girl or young woman, know that this day is for you! Moms, mentors, and female youth leaders are also welcome, but please only attend if you are bringing younger girls and women with you. Please pack your car full of as many girls as you can, as this special day is designed specifically for them, and we want as many young women to attend as possible. 
 

2. What is the minimum age allowed to attend?

Age 12. Some mature topics will be mindfully addressed. 
 

3. I am coming from out of town. What is there to do in the area?

4. I am not sure what I believe about God, spirituality, or faith. Is it okay if I attend?

Absolutely. We are passionate about sharing the message of your true worth and the love and hope of Jesus with any girl or woman with an open heart. We would be honored to have you join us for this special gathering and hope that you will be uplifted and encouraged.
