The Methuen Police Department is proud to participate in the Pink Patch Project for the fifth consecutive year, with all 2026 proceeds benefiting Tough Warrior Princesses.
The Methuen Police Department is entering our fifth year participating in the Pink Patch Project, and this year, the cause hits incredibly close to home. Every dollar we raise from our 2026 project will go directly to Tough Warrior Princesses, a non-profit organization that stood by our own family when we needed it most.
Why Tough Warrior Princesses Means So Much to Us
Tough Warrior Princesses provides hands-on support, comfort, and vital resources to individuals navigating a cancer diagnosis. Last year, they stepped up for two of our own Methuen Police officers, Gina Scanlon and Tracey Noonan, delivering personal "Warrior Baskets" while they were actively fighting breast cancer.
These baskets are deeply personal, filled with comfort items specifically chosen to offer warmth and support through the toughest parts of diagnosis and treatment.
From Our Officers
"When I received my Warrior Basket, I was completely overwhelmed with emotion. When your job is being a police officer, you are used to being the one who helps others. It's what we do every day. Being on the receiving end of that help was a feeling I really had to get used to. But Tough Warrior Princesses made it so seamless and filled with love, allowing me to accept that support right when I needed it most." — Officer Tracey Noonan
"When you hear those words, "You have cancer," your whole world stops. Everything stands still while you try to process it. I received my Warrior Basket shortly after diagnosis, and it felt like a jumpstart. Things started moving forward again. It gave me the comfort and resources I needed to face what was ahead. Between my family, my friends, and the support of the Tough Warrior Princesses, I knew instantly that I wasn’t in this fight alone. I had an entire army standing right behind me." — Officer Gina Scanlon
