About The Champion Project (TCP)
We are a 501c3 organization that mobilizes faith-based communities to support youth in foster care living in 24/7 staffed group homes (modern-day orphanages) through mentoring, 1-on-1 tutoring, and our Book Bus—bringing community, stability, and consistency to their daily lives.
Why it matters
Many youth in group homes are never adopted and age out without even one steady adult to depend on. The best predictor of success is the number of caring adults a child can count on. TCP pairs youth with mentor teams and targeted tutoring that measurably changes trajectories.
