Join your hosts, Rhonda and Mike Rhoads—Certified Bourbon Professional through the Council of Whiskey Masters, graduate of Moonshine University, and members of the John Wright Restaurant barrel selection committee—for an unforgettable evening of bourbon exploration.
This immersive experience goes beyond tasting—it’s about how memory shapes what you smell and savor. Through guided discussion, you’ll explore glassware, appearance, nosing, tasting techniques, the role of water, mashbills, barrel aging, and maturation—all while discovering your own sensory profile. Guests will have the opportunity to sample from an extraordinary collection of over 400 whiskeys, liquors, and Hawaiian barrel-aged rums, including rare and sought-after pours such as Weller Antique 107, Little Book Infinity, Peerless Double Barrel Rye, Knob Creek 18 & 21, Old Grand-Dad 16, Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select, Dickel 18, Calumet 15, Van Winkle Lot B, Rhetoric 24, Eagle Rare 10, Russell’s Private Barrel, Very Old St. Nick, and Blood Oath Trilogy.
An abundant charcuterie board—featuring curated meats, cheeses, nuts, fruits, and chocolates—will complement the experience. For those interested, whiskey- and rum-infused cigars, personally crafted by your hosts, will also be available. The winning bidder will receive a copy of Fred Minnick’s award-winning book, Best Spirits Book in the World.
Designed for all levels—from seasoned enthusiasts to first-time sippers—this evening promises warmth, discovery, and exceptional flavor.
