On October 4, 2026, Florio is taking on The Found Charity Ultra, a sunrise-to-sunset backyard-style ultra marathon benefiting Street Dog Hero.

The concept is simple: one runner, one lap at a time, with a new dog joining for each one.

Each 2.5-mile loop, Florio will be joined by a different rescue dog, many of them former street dogs who were once homeless and are now adopted, safe, and living the lives they always deserved.

This run is about more than miles. It is about what those miles can make possible: rescue, medical care, transport, spay and neuter programs, and second chances for dogs who are still waiting for their way home.

You can support Florio’s run by pledging a dollar amount per mile or by making a one-time donation. Every mile helps Street Dog Hero continue getting dogs off the streets and into loving homes.
