Help bring holiday joy to our shelter residents by serving at our Christmas Market & Party! This special event allows individuals and families in our programs to shop for Christmas gifts during their designated time slots. Volunteers are essential to making this experience meaningful and smooth — from stocking shelves and greeting guests to assisting with check-in and Santa photos.

Engage shoppers while bagging up and labeling their gifts efficiently, and helping them get to the gift wrap station at conclusion of purchase.
Ration various valued gifts throughout day, replenish the store after each shopping session.
Replenish gift stations, keep stations and tables wiped clean for new arrivals.
Engage party participants in conversations, photobooth, etc. Formal or candids depending on the participants. May have to recruit from the audience or take Santa around the room depending on audience comfort level.
Engage shoppers about who they are buying for, help navigate the store in timely way, carry gifts, help stay on budget and shepherd to the cashiers.
Engage shoppers pleasantly while tabulating the cost of their gifts and receiving "payment"
Engage shoppers in pleasant conversation about their gifts and who they are shopping for while wrapping.
Replenish food stations, keep food stations and tables wiped clean for new arrivals.
