Our Causes

Single Parent Advocate is a non-profit organization committed to educating, equipping, and empowering single parents with resources, practical assistance, emotional encouragement, and social networking to better their lives and those of their children. We are a nonprofit that reaches out to help single parents, their children, and their support organizations. It is our commitment to continue our advocacy, our training with families, consumers, and professionals, and our efforts to organize and support these families.

This year, Scott Murray returns as our Celebrity Emcee, and again, we are partnering with the Scott Murray Scholarship Foundation to provide educational scholarships to a single parent and/or single parent child who is actively pursing their college education and who meets the requirements of the scholarship.

Scott Murray

   Scott Murray spent three decades with NBC television as a multi EMMY Award-winning TV anchor/host and broadcast journalist. He’s been recognized as a Living Legend of Journalism by the Press Club of Dallas and is a recipient of the prestigious Silver Circle Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. 

   Scott presently is CEO of Murray Media World, a television production company he created with his son, providing Event A/V, Virtual Shows and Streaming, while remaining most active as a keynote speaker, author, radio host and moderator/emcee of hundreds of corporate, convention and charitable events every year. In addition, he serves on the board/advisory boards of countless children’s, civic, charitable and non-profit organizations. Scott is most proud to support the success of students looking to further their education, but lack the necessary resources, through the Scott Murray Scholarship Foundation. He's also most proud that the Scott Murray Scholarship for Sports Broadcasting is presented annually in partnership with The Lone Star EMMY Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to four college bound students each year who are pursuing a career in Television Sports Broadcasting.   

   Scott is proud to have been honored with countless awards such as: Man of the Year, Citizen of the Year,

Volunteer of the Year, Philanthropist of the Year, Humanitarian of the Year, and, his most cherished personal award, Father of the Year.

In keeping with our tradition, we will be including celebrities who will play alongside each of you

like those who have joined us in the past!

As we learn of our player celebrities, we will be sure to communicate with each of you.

Welcome to Tour 18 Experience, where golf enthusiasts can experience a truly unique and memorable round of golf.  Our course is designed to transport players to some of the most famous and historic holes in America.  Imagine yourself playing on carefully simulated holes from some of the greatest golf courses in America. This collaboration of incredible replicas offers players a memorable experience of walking in the footsteps of some of the great legends before them.
