We are honored to welcome Alex Kendrick as our featured guest speaker.

Alex Kendrick is an acclaimed filmmaker, actor, author, and speaker whose work has inspired millions to pursue a deeper faith and live with intentional purpose. Before entering filmmaking, Kendrick served in church ministry for nearly two decades, where he developed a passion for communicating biblical truth in practical and compelling ways. As a co-creator of Kendrick Brothers Productions, he has helped produce some of the most influential Christian films of our generation, including Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, Courageous, War Room, Overcomer, Lifemark, and The Forge. Through these films and his ministry, he has consistently encouraged individuals and families to pursue Christ-centered living, courageous leadership, and faithful stewardship.

Alex Kendrick's message aligns seamlessly with Shorter University's mission. His commitment to developing disciples, strengthening families, encouraging servant leadership, and proclaiming the Gospel reflects the values we seek to cultivate in every Shorter student.
