Everyone meet Cutie Pie (Domenic name her)!

This sweet thing was born without working back legs. The people that had her did everything possible along side a vet to try to help her, but she did not improve. Taking on a goat with nonworking back legs was not a possibility for them. Which left them with no other choices beyond euthanasia.

I saw her picture, immediately thought of all the kiddos that come to us with legs that don’t work as they should, and decided we had to try!

Born with a curved spine when she came to the rescue she couldn’t use any of her legs.

She came to us before we were known around the world for what we do.

A limp baby goat who couldn’t walk.

She was dressed in onesies, slept in the bed.

Her physical therapy equipment consisted of shopping bags and pool noodles.

She had good days and hard days.

Days were I was confident she would run on her own and days I doubted it.

But she didn’t give up.

I am positive there were days she wondered if fighting through what felt like impossible seemed worth it.

But she did.

With unconditional love and a “whatever it takes” attitude Cutie Pie now runs the rescue, you can often times find her leading the goat herd.

Don’t give up yet friends.

Your miracle maybe disguised as your friend who won’t let you quit.
