Empower Every Student. Equip Every Teacher.
In Round Rock ISD, nearly 1 out of 8 students face financial hardships that make basic school supplies a luxury their families simply cannot afford. When families have to choose between groceries and notebooks, students start the year at a disadvantage.
It isn't just the students—over 150 early-career teachers enter their classrooms each year needing help to provide the essential tools their students require to succeed.
The School Supplies Project
The Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation’s Annual School Supplies Project ensures that no child or educator is left behind. We provide the "building blocks" of education so our community can focus on what matters most: learning.
Your support directly funds:
- District-Approved Kits: Brand new, grade-appropriate supply sets for students in need.
- First Year Teacher "Welcome Boxes": Essential classroom supplies for our newest educators.
- The Resource Boutique: A year-round supply hub for students and teachers who need replacements or mid-year help.
- Elementary Folders: Take-home folders for every elementary campus in the district.
How You Can Help
1. Make a Targeted Impact
Just $25 funds a complete school supply kit for one student or a “Welcome Box” for a teacher. Whether you give $25 or $2,500, every dollar levels the playing field for our kids.
2. Sponsor the Mission
Businesses and organizations can make a massive impact through sponsorship. Benefits include marketing exposure and the opportunity to exhibit at the Round Rock ISD Back to School Celebration.
If you are interested in a sponsorship for school supplies, please see our opportunities listed HERE. We now offer an Annual Sponsorship which includes school supplies, for more information email: rrisdpief@rrisdeducationfoundation.org.
3. Host a Supply Drive
Turn your office, neighborhood, or club into a collection point. We are always looking for new books and school supplies to keep our Resource Boutique stocked all year long. (Please contact the Foundation to host a drive.)
4. Volunteer Your Time
We need hands on deck to sort, pack, and distribute supplies. Join our community of volunteers and see the impact of your work firsthand.
