Dear API Members, Industry Friends, and Prospective Sponsors:
The Permian Basin Chapter of the API is chartered to provide scholarships to deserving students from the Permian Basin. This year, the organization is committed to awarding up to forty-one scholarships, which will be funded at up to $4,000 annually. The API “SOUR CRUDE OPEN” is the largest scholarship golf tournament in the Permian Basin, with a traditional sellout of over 520 participants. This year’s tournament will be May 9 & 10, 2025 at Hogan Park Golf Course.
Changes for this year:
(1) Format change - if you play Friday afternoon, you will play Saturday afternoon. If you play Friday morning, you will play Saturday morning.
(3) TEE TIMES: AM 7:30 / PM 1:00
(2) All of the game holes fees have been folded into the team fee.

We must receive your entry with payment or payment information before the tournament starts to secure your spot in the tournament. Do not delay completing and paying for your entry even if you do not have all the players on your team yet fully committed.
Remember, no phone-in entries will be accepted! This is a first-come, first-served event.
