On July 23rd OCJ Kids will be ceklebrating the start of the school season by taking foster group home kids to an escape room.
Each group home will get the opportunity to traverse one of 8 escape rooms with the assitance of a volunteer. this is a greast opportunity to provide the children and teens with a bonding experience as well as great one on one time with our volunteers.
every child and teen will also recieve a backpack with a slew of school supplies off their classroom lists.

host a box at your buisness and collect school supplies or recieve an amazon link to send supplies driectly to our warehouse.

Help us to provide over 600 filled backpacks and provide a full day of escape rooms.
Volunteer
As we prep the event for our foster kids, we have volunteer opportunities available for the week-of and day-of event.
If you are wanting to sign up a group, please have each person sign up individually or add each of them yourself.
If you are planning to sign up for more than one shift, please message steven@ocjkids.org.

- WEEK-OF:
- Kit Building: Help OCJ Kids package school supplies by elementary, middle school, and high school kits for distribution along with backpacks.
- DAY-OF:
- Group Home Check-In: Assist with group home registration throughout the day. Activities include greeting the foster kids and placing wristbands.
- Backpack Distribution: Assist foster kids with backpack selection at pickup and distribution of school supplies.
- Escape Room Host: Assist our group homes through their Escape Room activity. 2 volunteers (18yrs+) are needed per room (8 rooms total per shift). Teens are free to volunteer in the backpack room.
