$5,000 helps us uphold the legacy of the NSO Memorial through Gold Star family engagement, remembrance ceremonies, and the creation of materials that educate future generations about those we’ve lost and ensuring the legacy and heritage of our fallen is never forgotten.
Coop’s Reset is more than just a program, it's a lifeline for those in the Navy Special Operations (NSO) community. Named in honor of Retired EODCS Steve Cooper, who tragically took his own life in 2021, we wanted to ensure that his name lived on and his life continued to hold purpose.
Coop's Reset is NSOF's unique approach to supporting NSO operators. Unlike traditional retreats, we prioritize prevention and create purposeful environments through funded getaways, maximizing morale and strengthening bonds within our community.

“I have not seen many of my Brothers in the last 10 years. I have neglected these relationships because of anxiety, shame, fear, and depression, and it was all in my head. Even though there were a few guys there I didn't know, as soon as I saw their faces or shook their hands, I knew they were my Brothers. It really has reinvigorated me in such a way that can only be described as heartwarming. It literally shocked life back into my Soul.”
$1,000 provides custom, team-specific support driven by the Operators themselves. Whether it’s funding a teammate’s tribute race, helping organize a reunion in honor of the fallen, or supporting legacy projects like the MDSU time capsule ceremony, this level gives NSOF the ability to say “yes” when the community comes to us with a mission that matters.
Over the last seven years, our Urgent Financial Assistance program has above all put into perspective the enormity of the gap NSOF fills and validated why we exist. Our commitment to maintaining the ability to approve, process, and fund these requests in 24hrs or less - without forcing our families to jump through hoops, provide endless financial documents, or fill out lengthy applications has truly established our Foundation as our warriors’ place to turn to first.

The NSOF Family Getaway Program is a dedicated initiative by NSOF that aims to support and strengthen the bonds within NSO families. Every year we provide over 60 NSO families of up to 6, on BOTH coasts, with an incredible getaway at Great Wolf Lodge.
By bringing families together, the program not only strengthens individual family units but also encourages the formation of meaningful friendships among families who share similar struggles.
The NSOF Family Getaway Program serves as a platform for families to connect, share experiences, and build a support network that extends beyond the duration of the getaways.
IMPACT TO DATE: 972 NSO FAMILY MEMBERS
$50 gives us the freedom to say “yes” when the need is small but urgent. It covers the costs that don’t make the spotlight but still matter, keeping Operators supported, families informed, and programs on track.

Named after the first bomb defused following the attack on Pearl Harbor, Type 92, Number 25 – Welded and Riveted honors the bravery and precision of Admiral Draper Kauffman, the father of Navy EOD. Personally selected and flown to Hawaii, Kauffman defused the Type 92 bomb, marking the beginning of a legacy that lives on in every Navy EOD technician today.
This bottle is more than whiskey - it’s a tribute. A tribute to courage, commitment, and the countless stories of sacrifice that followed. Just as Admiral Kauffman's mission was the beginning, so is this pour. Each sip invites reflection and connection, bridging past to present, and honoring the legacy of those who protect life, limb, and liberty.
Every detail of this bottle has been intentionally crafted. The label and vessel are hand-selected to feel substantial in your hand, an heirloom worth holding. Embedded within the design are curated symbols that trace the origins of Kauffman’s story and the birth of Navy EOD. Discover them. Share them. And raise a glass to where it all began.
