Dining for Philanthropy - 2026

WELCOME

 

2026 will mark the 17th year that Naples Woman’s Club has hosted its popular Dining for Philanthropy (DFP) dinners and lunches. These quick to sellout intimate dining experiences are hosted by members of NWC who select the theme and the venue. New for the 2026 season, a DFP cocktail party will be held on January 21st, followed by dinners on February 18th & lunches on March 2nd.

 

DFP guests enjoy a delicious meal with friends, but the real power and purpose of DFP is to raise funds to help our community. DFP hostesses absorb all costs, and the funds raised by ticket sales support local nonprofit organizations addressing critical needs. Net proceeds from DFP 2026 will benefit The Children's Advocacy Center of Collier County and A.N.A’s Friends.

 

Expert Tip! Dining for Philanthropy events sell out quickly—reserve your preferred venue early! Credit card reservations open at 8:00 a.m. on November 12. Checks are also accepted, but must be given in person to Diana Wallenstein or Kay Ziegler at the General Meetings starting on November 12th.

 

Please note the amount of tickets already claimed for each event as you choose it. You cannot purchase more tickets than are available. If, at submit payment time, the tickets are no longer available- it will let you know. You will need to choose another event. You may attend the party, a lunch and a dinner if you choose.

 

Remember if you plan to attend the same dinner with friends as a group, we suggest that ONE person sign-up everyone in their party under ONE reservation. Otherwise, the event could be sold out before all attendees of your group purchases tickets. After purchase, you will be see your ticket and any guest tickets. We ask that you add the name(s) of your guests then, if you know who it is. 

 

Can't join in on the fun or want to give a little more? Be a Patron for $50 or make any donation amount you choose.

January 21, 2026 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gomez Residence in Royal Harbor.

Cocktail party to kick off the Dining for Philanthropy season. 

Your hosts Pat, Elissa and Laurie will greet you with champagne, wine and assorted heavy appetizers for an evening of dancing by the Bay to the sounds of the Robert Williamson Band. Enjoy new and old friends at this French-inspired evening, beginning pool-side with a crisp, refreshing Champagne Aperitif reminding you of strawberries, citrus fruits, and ginger. Begin your dinner with a dreamy, rich and creamy French Shrimp Appetizer followed by Boeuf a la Bourguignon and an Orange and Tomato Salad all accompanied with French Wines. You will want to save room for the “topping on the cake”—a delicious home-made French Tart. Continue your evening poolside with after dinner drinks and more conversation.

A lovely and entertaining Oscar themed evening will captivate our guests at this catered affair in this newly renovated Mediterranean home on the 3rd Street Canal in Aqualane Shores. We will kick off the event with champagne and craft cocktails “Oscar style”! A delicious raw bar will be presented including tuna tartar cones. A divine dinner will be served in a “sit down” setting with your choice of salmon with a mustard glaze or beef tenderloin. The evening will close with coffee service and an array of elegant pastries. We will share Oscar trivia from past and present winners and have a few surprises in store for our guests to leave feeling bedazzled. Please join your hostess, Kathleen Cain, at the Maddox, a private club in the Bayshore area of Naples. You will begin the evening with cocktails and appetizers, followed by a cooking demonstration by Chef Darren.  He will simplify the art of French cooking after which you will enjoy the following 4 course French dinner: French Onion Soup with Gruyère Crouton; Smoked Salmon Salad with Crisp Lardons, Poached Egg and Crisp Frisee; Duck à l’orange with Garlic Poached Haricot Verts; Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée.

Start with a beverage of choice (of course, we will have Maryland's own Natty BOH); then, enjoy Oysters Rockefeller and Shrimp Cocktail. Tease the taste buds with a Caesar Salad (anchovies, if desired). Feast on a REAL MARYLAND CRAB CAKE...no loaf bread filler, only all "LUMP" CRAB MEAT. Keeping to Maryland tradition, we’ll also enjoy Corn on the Cobb, Yellow Squash, Sweet/Sour Cukes, Red Ripe Tomatoes and "Wonder Bread" with a little Tartar Sauce.  Lastly, if you're not too stuffed, finish with Lee’s well-known Ice Cream Pie.
