This unforgettable evening honors the lives and legacies of those impacted by ALS while bringing together a community united by hope, resilience, and the shared vision of a future where ALS is no longer a barrier to living life fully.
The Night of Hope was founded in 2006 by Holly and Palmer Proctor in loving memory of Holly’s father, Steve Ennis. What began as a heartfelt tribute has grown into a powerful movement of hope, raising more than $14 million to advance ALS research, expand access to care, and support advocacy efforts. Although Steve’s courageous journey ended in 2012, his legacy continues to inspire progress, fuel innovation, and bring hope to families affected by ALS.
For 75 years, the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) has been dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals and families impacted by neuromuscular diseases, including ALS. Through groundbreaking research, compassionate care, and advocacy that drives meaningful change, MDA continues to create new possibilities and a brighter future for the ALS community.
Proceeds from the 20th Annual MDA Night of Hope Gala will continue to advance this mission, including critical support for the Emory ALS Center, a leader in ALS research and care providing hope, resources, and innovation for families across Georgia and beyond.
