Hi, I'm Samantha Brumfield! I am proud to be a part of the Sweetheart Court, sponsored by North Oaks Health System. I am raising funds for Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Hammond and appreciate your support. The gal who raises the most money by 8pm on February 11 at the annual Gal's Night Out event, presented by Republic Finance, will be named the 2026 Queen of Hearts.

Supporting Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is important to me because giving back to the community is something I truly value. Cancer has deeply marked the lives of my loved ones, and the reality is that nearly everyone you meet has been impacted by it in some way. That's why the mission of Mary Bird Perkins resonates so strongly with me. By supporting their work, I feel I'm honoring those close to me while helping ensure that others in our community receive the care, hope, and healing they deserve. 

Fun facts about you?

I was the 2020-2021 Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival Queen which makes me the only queen to have the title for two consecutive years.

My favorite things include being a mom, cooking good food, and playing board games!
